Principal’s Message

Hello and welcome to Central Middle School! It’s my pleasure to be the principal of this wonderful school. I’d like to share a little about myself so that you get to know me better.

I began my career teaching 5th graders at White Oaks in 1996. Over the next 7 years I taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders at Arundel and Tierra Linda Middle School. My teaching experience in middle school was in the areas of social studies and language arts, I also taught an art elective. During this time I also served on district committees, including the standards alignment committee as well as the planning and implementation committee that was charged with the re-opening of Tierra Linda Middle School (TL).

After 7 years of teaching I moved into site administration at TL as the Assistant Principal, I served in this role for 5 years. Then I became Principal of Arundel school, and was Principal there until January 2011 when I moved over to CMS as Principal.

I am married to Jennifer and we live together in San Carlos with our two sons, Samuel and Benjamin. They are both students in the San Carlos schools.

I enjoy working in a community of dedicated parents, teachers, staff and community members who support the education of the San Carlos students.
